ImagesByKecia LLC Photography's is owned and operated solely by Kecia L. Allen!  I was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York (PKNY) in 1964.  After earning my degree in Education at Saint Paul's College in Lawerenceville, Virginia in 1992, I relocated to Richmond, Virginia.  For 13 years my love of children kept me teaching the children of the City of Richmond at Mosby Middle (now Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School) and Franklin Military Academy/Armstrong High Schools.  However, the development and honing of a variety of technical skills took me in a different direction.  In 2005 I traded public school teaching for traveling and training in cities such as New York City, Jacksonville, Chicago, DC, and Charlotte for a  prestigious law firm headquartered in Richmond!  After about a year and a half and the realization that the ARTIST didn't quite accept the corporate world, my life took a drastic change. 

In the many years as a teacher and trainer, I always had a camera in hand, documenting students and their progression as well as documenting my travels.  My next step, in my opinion, was quite obvious!!!  After meeting my now mate and best friend, DJ Drake - mixer for Radio-One Richmond and well-known street and club dj, IMAGESBYKECIA LLC was born!!!
